I just got this in my inbox from Chaplins and thought how fabulous that sofa would look in my living room. It's the perfect blend of modern and romantic and off-the wall. And that is a serious pair of curtains.
I would worry about all the dog hair and crumbs that would disappear into those buttoned dimples, but if I could afford this sofa then I could also afford a housekeeper to deal with mundane issues like that.
Based on the furniture we ordered for a client from Chaplins, I'm guessing this sofa is in the £8,000-£10,000 range. I can (and have) decorated a whole house for that.
Different worlds I guess. I'm lucky enough to have worked on both sides. I know how to scrimp and I know how to spend and they're both fun for different reasons. I'm not going to lie - spending is a bit more fun.
