Wreaths + Book Signing At Anthropologie

Hi everyone! I've been a loony tunes busy bee (whatever the hell that is) but I've been thinking of you! Last week I was freezing cold in Vienna for an Ikea Family Live shoot which was a blast as usual. I feel so lucky to get to travel for my job, even though it's always a bit of a whirlwind, in and out quick as a flash. This week I had a shoot for Completely London magazine which was nice because it was in my part of London (North. The best!) Then today I went to the West Elm store opening blogger preview. More on that next week. Suffice it to say, I'm thrilled West Elm have arrived in the UK. They were always a favourite when I lived in the US. It was nice to catch up with some fellow bloggers as well, including the sweetest blogger around, Will Taylor of Bright.Bazaar and the lovely Carole King of Heart Home magazine.

What I really wanted to tell you is that my book launch is this Saturday at Anthropologie on the King's Road in West London. I'm so excited! I was there today planning the event and generally getting excited. As you may know, I started my career as a display artist for Anthropologie in Los Angeles, so I'm tickled pink that they're hosting this event for me and that their shelves are stocked with Modern Rustic! Dream big people, that's all I have to say!

I'm starting the day at 1pm with two wreath making workshops with one of my best friends, florist and photographer Yolanda Chiaramello and finishing with drinks and a book signing at 4pm. If you're in the area, come in and introduce yourself. It would be great to meet you! There will be wine provided by my local wine shop, the very cool Borough Wines. All proceeds from the worskshops will be donated to a brilliant London charity Kids Company, run by the fabulous Camila Batmanghelidjh.

However, for all my non-London readers who can't make it, click over to the Anthropologie Europe website for a simple wreath tutorial that Yolly and I styled and shot. I'd love to hear what you think and definitely let me know how you get on if you make a wreath at home. I highly recommend it. It's loadsa fun!
xoxo

Feel free to write me a note - I love getting them. It's a bit like getting an old-fashioned letter in the post. Thanks! x
