Whirlwind Weekend Ahead

Whenever Friday comes around my mind starts racing about everything I want to get done before Monday. With birthdays, Christmas planning, book research, house decorating, present buying, kids' activities, laundry, I will never get it all done this weekend. How to prioritise?

Don't ask me. I'm useless at planning non work-related, i.e. personal stuff. Things like grocery shopping and laundry always take a back seat to anything creative so when this Monday arrives I hope to have a Christmas tree up, a spruced-up house, a few more locations found for my book, and a hangover from the birthday party. And probably piles of un-washed laundry and an empty fridge.
But it's ok, because my house may look like this:

Have a great weekend.

  1. I don't know how women with families manage to have a creative life at the best of times what with juggling work, kids and home. Bravo to you for trying.

  2. @boomdeeadda - it's a bit of a struggle, I'll be the first to admit. Some days it seems impossible, but you just keep going. I could have worse problems right? Thanks for reading! Are you a follower? If not, please do!

Feel free to write me a note - I love getting them. It's a bit like getting an old-fashioned letter in the post. Thanks! x
