Here are a few tidbits from our trip to Oslo. (P.S. What I learned about Norwegians in 4 days: They all speak perfect English, they make great coffee and eat really healthily, they all ski and they're all tall and good-looking).
This incredible view from the cabin we stayed in and shot on the first day.
Ski slopes right out the kitchen window!
And a slight hiccup as we left the cabin in our rental car and got a wee bit stuck on a hairpin turn. 20 minutes of shovelling and fighting off thoughts of being eaten by wolves and we were on the road again.
Our second and third nights were in a trendy Eco-friendly Oslo hotel with lots of bamboo and animal skins.
The beautiful buildings of Oslo, sadly only seen from the window of a taxi as we whizzed from one location to the next.
And this hilarious doll arm cup designed and made by a ceramicist and stylist whose flat we photographed. Look for a credit to her website when the book comes out.
Lastly this cool combo of marble floors and colourful plastic chair at a coffee shop at the Oslo airport.
Looks so fantastic. Following a dream is the most exciting adventure.
