Moving On

We've been planning it for months, but finally the time has come for us to move out of our lovely house.

We're moving to London in a couple of months, but we're renting out our house early and staying with family until we leave. I've had the hardest month of my life: showing my house to potential tenants - and keeping it immaculate at all times, doing repairs on the house, selling everything (we're not taking any big pieces of furniture except a couple of very special things), compiling heaps of paperwork for my husband's UK visa, and on and on and on...

Here are some images from the past couple of weeks:

We ended up having two consecutive weekends of yard-sales.

Red TV console - sold!

Cardboard boxes meant for packing have been played in, drawn on, and built into towers by the kids and their friends.

My son packing things to go in his "sootcase".

My daughter giving me a yoga/ballet lesson the other day. I was the most stressed I've ever been and it felt like my head was going to explode.

Only a few more days of madness.

Feel free to write me a note - I love getting them. It's a bit like getting an old-fashioned letter in the post. Thanks! x
